UK trained former consultant vascular surgeon at national health service(NHS).
Dr. Murali Subramaniam brings with him over 25 years of experience. He formerly has been a Consultant Vascular Surgeon with the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom.
He introduced a novel minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins and was also instrumental in setting up a dedicated day surgery centre for Varicose Veins surgery.
His wide-ranging expertise includes treatment of Varicose Veins, Limb Salvage in patients with Diabetic Foot Disease, repair of Aortic Aneurysms, Carotid Surgery, Vascular Access for dialysis, Lower Limb Bypass and Vascular Trauma.
Dr Murali Subramaniam qualified from Madras Medical College in India. He completed his basic surgical training from the University of West Indies and was awarded FRCS from Edinburgh, UK. His work as a research fellow at the Western Infirmary, Glasgow was on stem cells which was nominated for the prestigious Medawar medal by the British Transplantation Society. He was awarded a national training number in Scotland which culminated in the intercollegiate FRCS in General and Vascular surgery. Dr. Subramaniam further completed an Endovascular Fellowship at the University College Hospital Galway, Ireland. He was awarded CCT (certificate of completion of training) by the General Medical Council (GMC) in 2010.
